Garden estate, golden Tri-Valley light and a dance floor that refused to quit — Jordan and Riley's Pleasanton spring wedding had polish and party in equal measure.
Some weddings have an elegant surface and a rowdy heart, and Jordan and Riley's was exactly that. Their Pleasanton celebration leaned into the Tri-Valley's best season — gardens in bloom, long warm evenings, that soft light coming through the estate trees — and then handed us a dance floor that did not want to stop.
They did a first look ahead of the ceremony, knocked out their photos early, and it paid off: instead of disappearing during cocktail hour, the two of them were actually in it, working the lawn and greeting people while the spring light did its thing. Riley came down the aisle to an acoustic "Die With a Smile," and Jordan went emotional the instant they appeared — one of those moments where the whole crowd seems to hold its breath at once.
The grand entrance brought it back up with "Feel So Close," and their first dance, "Lover" by Taylor Swift, had them twirling under the string lights. The mother-son dance to "Forever Young" carried that same charge, with a parent in happy tears at the center of it.
Once the floor opened to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," the polish gave way to pure fun. This crowd packed in immediately and climbed all night — a throwback run with "Yeah!" and "Hey Ya!", a current-hits block, and a peak built around a whole-estate "Sweet Caroline," every voice on the property joining in. We closed under the string lights with "Closing Time" and sent them off through a sparkler line into the warm Pleasanton evening.
Jordan and Riley, thank you for a night that was as much party as it was beautiful. The Tri-Valley showed off for you.
