Naomi & Eli's Rustic Barn Wedding in Sacramento, CA

Tin walls, a canopy of fairy lights and a pampas-grass arch set the scene for Naomi and Eli's Sacramento barn wedding. A packed, easygoing dance floor closed it out.

Walk into a barn strung wall to wall with fairy lights and you already know the night is going to feel intimate. Naomi and Eli's Sacramento venue had a peaked wooden ceiling dripping with warm string lights, weathered corrugated-tin walls, and a hand-built geometric arch dressed in pampas grass and fall-toned florals. We set the booth into that warmth and tuned for the room's wood-and-metal echo before guests arrived.

Naomi came down the aisle to a piano version of "All of Me," and the room's natural reverb let it hang in the rafters. I caught the two of them right after their entrance to "24K Magic" — they came in dancing, hand in hand in front of that tin wall, Eli in a black vest with his sleeves rolled and a burgundy tie, an arm full of ink showing, Naomi in an off-shoulder lace gown, both of them lit up. A wooden bench piled with greenery and candles and a little Mr & Mrs sign sat just behind them.

Dinner under those lights was unhurried and golden. Their first dance was "Adore You" by Harry Styles, warm and current, and the room's reverb actually flattered it — it lingered a beat longer than it would have in a ballroom. Then Eli's brother lovingly roasted him in a toast, the floor opened to "I Wanna Dance with Somebody," and the whole feel shifted.

This was a crowd that didn't need easing in; they packed the wood floor early and stayed. We rode that momentum with crossover hits the whole room knew, a hip-hop stretch that kept the floor jammed, and a full-room scream on "Mr. Brightside." The peak was a sweaty, joyful "September," and we closed the barn down with "Don't Stop Believin'."

Naomi and Eli, thank you for trusting us with such a beautiful, low-key-romantic barn night. That arch and those lights made everything glow.
